Job description
We are looking for an HR Administrator to join us in either the Amsterdam, Netherlands or Zug, Switzerland office.
The HR Administrator takes care of daily HR operational matters across the full employee lifecycle, with a special focus on payroll, HRIS management, employee benefits administration, and group compliance. The role acts as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and ensures that HR systems, records, and processes are maintained accurately, efficiently, and in line with local and group requirements.
HR Administration and Payroll
Own and administer the HR Information System (HRIS), including employee master data, workflows, system configuration, and reporting
Maintain accurate and complete employee records and personnel files in compliance with data protection requirements
Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and coordination with insurance and pension providers
Execute the monthly global payroll in coordination with external payroll providers across multiple jurisdictions
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, work permits, and system access
Support adhoc employee requests on general HR matters on a global basis
Monitor and ensure compliance with local labor law and group HR policies across all jurisdictions
Prepare HR reports, metrics, and dashboards for management
Support annual HR cycles, including performance reviews, salary review, and bonus processes
Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and process documentation

Job requirements
Key Qualifications
Experience in an HR administration role, ideally including payroll exposure
Hands-on experience administering an HRIS, ideally AFAS
Solid understanding of payroll processes and experience coordinating global or multi-country payroll
Working knowledge of Dutch employment processes and benefits and regulatory administration is required; Exposure to German, US or Swiss HR compliance is a plus;
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch (location Amsterdam and/or German (location Zug) required. Working knowledge of German/Dutch is desired.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
